For the higher degree aspirer, a BS in computer science at
AUB will also equip you with a sound basis for graduate work
in computer science. You have the choice of joining our
recently introduced MS program in computer science, or
joining a graduate computer science program in the United
State and
Canada. This has been the experience of tens of students
who have graduated from our program.

The implementation of systems in areas such
as Object-Oriented (OO) Technology, Database Systems,
Graphics Design, Artificial Intelligence, Computer
Architecture, Operating Systems, Networking and
Compiler Design. Students
acquire hands on experience in OO languages such as
Java, and C++, OO case tools such as UML (Unified
Modeling Language), reverse engineering GUI
environments such as the Eiffel environment,
database environments such as Oracle, web page
design, Multimedia and Hypermedia systems, Virtual
Reality Modeling Language
(VRML) and Scientific
visualization which models Geographical Information
Systems (GIS) and Medical Images.
